Terms of use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These terms govern the use of Fablee: the apps for iPhone and Android, the web app, CarPlay and Android Auto, voice assistants and the Fablee skill for Alexa. By using Fablee you accept them; if you set it up for a child, you accept them on the child’s behalf.

The service

Fablee offers narrated fairy tales and stories for children. Listening is free; some stories may be preceded by a short audio ad. The catalogue and the features may change over time.

Who can use Fablee

Fablee is for families. Children should use it under the supervision of an adult. Accounts may only be created by adults, or by minors with the consent of a parent where the law requires it.

Your account

An account is optional. Keep your password safe: you are responsible for what happens with your account. You can delete it from the app at any time.

Stories and rights

The stories, recordings, illustrations, the Fablee name and logo belong to Fablee, to its storytellers or to its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to listen to them for private, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • copy, record, redistribute or perform the stories in public;
  • extract audio, text or images from the app or the website;
  • use the content to train artificial intelligence systems;
  • get around download limits or access Fablee with automated tools.

Downloads

Downloaded stories can be played offline for up to 30 days; the app renews them by itself when you are online. They stay inside the app.

Other services

App stores, voice assistants, car systems and sign-in services are provided by Apple, Google and Amazon under their own terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Fablee running, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features. If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top, and we announce important changes in the app.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Fablee is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights consumers have under the law of their country.

Storytellers

Those who publish stories on Fablee also accept the storyteller agreement, which governs rights, payments and reviews.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live and may turn to its courts.
